Hey guys...

I need an example of "How to install self-made application on G1".

As far as I know I have to sign my .apk (dunno how) to make them work.
Otherwise I want to install the Apps via USB (and NOT OTA!).

I also already read the docs of google-android,
but anyhow I didnt got the informations I need.

I'd be very glad if u can help me!
thx in advance ;-)

btw: I use eclipse 3.3 with Android Plugin on WinXP with the latest Android SDK.

This article should answer all your signing questions... note that it has multiple pages. The second page of the above article shows you how to debug sign manually (which you shouldn't have to do if Eclipse is setup right... see the second link). The third page is particularly useful if you plan on releasing your application for the marketplace.

Eclipse should automate most of your debug signing automatically. You just need to setup the USB driver. If you haven't yet gotten an application to debug on the device, you might want to look at this article as well to get it working fairly seamlessly in Eclipse without really even having to think about it.
