How do you get multi-touch on the G1?

Hi guys, I'm new to Talk Android, and I have a qestion is there anyway I can get multi-touch on my G1 without rooting it, or downloading any modified code? I really want to use it for some of the apps I'm going to get like Air Hockey for the 2-player game. I just wish it would already be pre-loaded with the phone. Even the Donut, 2.0, update won't have it as said. So please help me with getting multi-touch, I need it so bad! There has to be some way!

The only way you are going to get it is if you root your phone and load a rom with the multi touch feature. The multi touch feature has to do with the kernel so there is no way of modifying it without root.
