hey all,
I run ubuntu 9.10 on my computer. when I stick in the USB-cable, and tell the G1 phone to mount, my desktop doesn't do anything. /var/log/messages gives me this:

If I try to mount it manually, it claims that it's an 'unknown device'. Under WinXP on my friends computer it works.
And walking around with a SD-card reader sort of defeats the purpose of buying this phone in the first place, which was to have everything in one, and not walk with a phone, and an mp3-player, and an external hdd.
Had this problem since ubuntu 8.04.
