Something I've been curious about for a while...
Why does android use the m prefix in the code so much?
For example:
mMapView = (MapView) findViewById(R.id.basic_map);
Why mMapView instead of just mapView??

It is a standard coding convention, the m stands for member, as in member of an object or class.

Thanks for that. The m's are suddenly useful now.
Cheers!
