Ya, this atleast is insight, but I think they have dug themselves a nasty hole. People are already complaining about a need for an update, so with that said, if its going to be another couple months, riots shall ensue...lol

this is true but there are too many sources indicating that we should get the update late this month, personally im not counting on it!

cupcake is a development branch, it's not an update. the features they're creating will be released....when they're released. Listening to rumors only leads to the crazy tantrums we see all over the internet about the phone.
Point blank: If you're waiting for the update, how long will you wait? If your answer is "as long as it takes" -- then you're set. If your answer is "about a month, then I'm going to get mad" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sell your phone on eBay or return it to T-Mobile right now.
Why?
I like my phone. It's great. Way better than my last phone. I read a lot about my phone before I purchased it, and while it was waiting for it to ship. It's not perfect, no phone is, not even the holy iPhone, but it does what I want, and that's enough. If you don't feel like I do -- if you're waiting for some magic update to make it all better -- for one reason or another, it's probably not going to be the magic fix you're seeking. Few things in life are.
If you're honest with yourself, you probably want a different phone. So go get it, and be happy! It's your choice, sit around complaining about feature x, y, z, or riding off into the sunset with the phone that does what you want. Life is far too short to spend it on message boards unhappy.
