I found this great new app on the market:

called TrafficDroid.

My friend downloaded it and it works great but my phone cannot find some apps for some reason. Can anyone test this app to see if it is my phone or simply the app itself?

I see it on the market on my Droid X. It would help if you told us what kinds of phones are involved.

just checked it works fine... check setting and try to download it again

first of all confirm that you & your friend have same version of OS running on your Android devices

It might also be some specific hardware (a certain sensor for example) that is required that your phone is missing... The market can automatically filter it out because you phone can not support it...
