My first 24 hours with my G1 have been great - I'm luvvin' it. I notice though that when selecting screen items I have to touch a little ABOVE them to get it to select properly. Is there a calibration tool that will let my fat fingers touch directly on a link rather than half on and half above it?

Thanks!!

i have the same "problem", if you wanna call it that. to my understanding, the g1 does not have the option to calibrate it manually, its a finger touch screen, not a pressure sensitive screen. phones like the g1 and the iphone automatically calibrate themselves because the screens are finger (electrically) sensitive, which means that the screen translates the static electricity in your fingers into movement gestures on the screen, thats why you dont get a response from the screen if you touch it with a stylus. other phones such as the lg voyager and samsung instinct need manual calibration because they are pressure sensitive, also on pressure sensitive devices, if you hold the screen to an angle, you will see a bunch of little tiny dots all over, those dots are the sensor grid for the phone. so all in all, the g1 has an advantage being that its a finger sensitive screen. maybe with the next update, they will send a patch to help this problem.
