hiya

i'm looking for a good Android phone (other than the Samsung Galaxy S) that is good on the music front. i'm looking for something that has the following features:

1. the ability to edit/make a playlist on-the-fly (without the use of a software)

2. have the ability to add songs to the playlist on-the-fly

4. the ability to customise the EQ settings on ALL or a particular song to my liking.

5. some form of surround/3D/propreitory sound enhancing feature

6. one that supports most audio formats (like WMA, MP3 and Flac)

my budget is between ?150 to ?250 region

any sugestions please....?

thanks.

all android phones are pretty capable in regards to music, theres even an app called doubletwist that lets you sync your itunes with your android device. plus countless apps in the market that allow you to listen to internet radio and actual radio. i believe slacker radio even lets you cache songs aka save them for some time.

like what mburrell said, the phone really doesn't matter that much, as it comes down to the apps that you put on it. The apps themselves are what does the work you're asking, not the phone itself. As long as you buy a new-er phone, then you shouldn't have a problem with app support either

Much as I wouldn't want to be seen disagree with the Admin, I mention that the new HTC Desire HD has SRS and Dolby Mobile built in, in an effort to improve sound reproduction thru head phones. So a new HTC may be what your looking for, it's definately what I am looking for!
