One of my friends chris, is an Iphone 3gs user. He is always talking smack to John (blackberry, Verizon) & myself, (t-mobile, mytouch3g). When i was talking to him today he goes "oh that's iphone envy, its natural. Yeah, well I love my android phone so I'll call it IPhone Ego. I think it is great that android is taking market share from these guys. Yes apple had it first but there is always room for improvement. Thoughts?

I couldn't agree more with you. I used the iphone a few times and must say Apple did a wonderful job and help shift the market in favor of the customer. However I have notice that a lot of iphone users pack an Ego. For some reason they think that the iphone is so advance when other phones have been doing the same things or better since it arrived on the scene. Sometimes it's just too much when I see that some act like no other phone comes close.....lol

All the battles of the smart phones are old already. I have a Nexus One....I love this phone but I know other Android phones are going to crush it in Specs in another 6 month to a year, so research and find the features you want and need. I'm glad android came into the picture to but some heat on other companies. They would have just let iphone go unchallenged since it came on the screen in 2007. I love the competition since we get the benefits of the technology, but do we really need to line up a Nexus One which shipped in January 2010 and compare to the next Blackberry and OS6?

Everyone i know with an i-phone always talk about how good they are and wont see anything which is better in any other phone. Kinda silly really, i decided to go against it really. Plus you pay so much money for them and they aint really any better.

It is called denial. When someone pays out the butt cheeks for something they refuse to believe anything could be better especially if it is less expensive.

Ego I-Phony wannabe users should read the bedtime story again about 'The King And His Dress', where the haughty (I-Phone)king walks butt naked through a fully crowded city, believing that he were's a superior, priceless dress made by a divine designer(named:Steve Jobs?)
