Hello Android users and Google/Motorola phone gods,
I have a concern with the layout of the "Call Log" settings on the Droid. It is very irritating! The problem is that every single call shows up in the "log" for you to see. This should not be.
For example, if my girlfriend and I exchange 10 phone calls during the day, and no one else calls me that day, I see her number listed 10 times. This is annoying. If my father was the last person I called besides her, I have to scroll past her name 10 times and find his name (Yes, I can use favorites, but the last person to call is not always on my favorites).
I have seen a better program on an old phone (maybe Nokia?). On the "call log" the last 10 phone numbers that I had called were listed. If I wanted to see the history of one of those numbers, then I just selected the number and the last 30 times I called that person (with date, time, and duration) would show up. So, if I called my girlfriend 12 times with no one else calling me that day, I would not see her name 12 times in the call log. She would be #1 and my father or whoever was the last other person to call me, would be #2. I then could select their name to see call history.
The Droid update needs to include this fix! Also, the Droid has the capability to list every number you have ever called, and to save the data of the entire call history.
