I can't believe how sh1$%^ the case or 'pocket condom' that came with the phone is. Just got my phone today...Need some protection for my "precious".

I'm just using my old case from my MDA for now. What I found funny is that they have a lanyard showing on the accessories - anyone found a spot on the phone where you can connect it??

I bought a brown one at the T-Mobile store for like 7 bucks. I would just go and test the ones there out till I found one that fit good.

Apprently there's been some insert leaflets sent out with the G1's giving some info on upcoming accessories.

Sorry i cant confirm this, just got it sent in an IM:

7th November: Back-up pocket charger $29.99
27th November: Body glove texture snap-on shell $29.99

Might be an idea to check the HTC site in a few days/weeks too for G1 accessories.

I am using Snap on case made by amzer while my wife is using bodyguard protector. Hers is a anti scratch film that cover full device and also comes with screen prortector but mine also is protective case. Check out this where we bought http://www.fommy.com/t-mobile-g1.htm

Thanks techcrazy... I got bodyguardz and its really worth purchasing. I am wondring about the quality of Snap on.
