Just wondering what everyone's gonna do on the 22nd? Working?
I'm gonna head on down to the store and fingers crossed snag myself a white G1, i wonder if i'll be able to reserve one im gonna try ring them a few days before and what's going on with the white model.
Have all you pre-order guys been told you'll get it delivered on the launch day? Heck, you might even stand a strong chance of getting the day before?

Up to now i haven't really been giving much thought to it, but everywhere i look online people are mentioning android and the G1.. and im starting to wonder whether i should get down there early..
I really dont think we're gonna see iPhone-esque queues and stuff... but i just hope they have a good selection of models in-store...especially white models

Called Tmobile, confirmed D-day and they said no signature required (UPS will drop the box off at the door) so I will not take a day off as I planned to. I hope I manage to not to take off early from work.
I will come home from work, open the package, put the battery in, set it to charge f a couple of hours and leave the house. I shall not turn on, play with, sniff, lick or use the phone until the battery is charged...

Instead of preordering and waiting until 10 November I went to T-Mobile corporate store and signed up on the list. Amazingly they only had five people on that list so I'm sure I'll get it on the 22nd.

Ah you're one of those 'THE FIRST CHARGE IS SO IMPORTANT' guys then
I normally give mine like 20mins, play a bit - register the handset then let it charge for a few hours.

LOL. But it's not only about the first charge. I'll torture myself so I don't feel bad when I torture others. I will not let anybody touch it but I will show it off.
