The more I look at the specs and what this phone is capable of doing the more I am interested in turning in my blackberry and getting it.

I'm in the same boat. In fact, I'm will to pay full retail for the Droid.

Every Motorola phone I've had has been great.

Can't wait for Nov. 6th. Goodbye Blackberry Storm.........

I am actually eligible for an upgrade. I bought the Storm 2 outright and got it yesterday. I am sending it back and getting the Droid which I have a $50 discount coming for my new every two so I should get the phone for $150. Let me know what you think of the Droid when you get it. Not enough people are posting on this site.

I will certainly let you know. The best video I've seen so far is a 10-minute clip on engadget:

http://www.engadget.com/2009/10/28/m...first-hands-on

What are your thoughts on the Storm 2?

I agree, not a lot of people post on this site, but as the Android platform grows, so will the site. (I hope)

I saw a great video on Engadget about the Droid. I will try to find the link.

What do you think of the Storm 2?

It is ok, definetly better that when the S1 came out but still has its hiccups I am ready for a fresh start, can always go back to blackberry, but I think the Droid is going to be it.

The video on Engadget.com is titled "Motorola DROID first hands-on!..."

For some reason, I'm not able to post links on this forum.

Cheers

Idroid,

How are you preparing to transfer contacts, calendar etc. from BB to the Droid? Wondering if there's an efficient way.

BTW, I'm not sure what your last post was about.

Last post was a link that did not go through. I have exported my calendar and contacts from Microsoft Outlook and imported them onto my gmail account, then I will be able to sync via google.
