I'm selling my G1 to a friend so I can upgrade to a mytouch and I need to know how to do a factory reset on the phone. I also want to know how to recover all my apps.

I googled "t-mobile g1 factory reset" and got this:

Factory reset is explained clearly, and someone also explains how to recover your apps (they're in the My Downloads section of the Marketplace).

I haven't tested this because I don't yet own an Android phone
