Please improve the multimedia capabilitis of G1 while releasing it India. It'd be better if its price is kept between 10,000 to 15,000 INR.

In regards to the G1 - it may take a while.

After it's Us and Uk launches, the G1 is expected to be available in other non-English speaking areas of Europe with Q1 of 2009.

Quote:
"All the development work was done in English," said John Wang, chief marketing officer of HTC, in an interview early Wednesday in Taipei. "It will take about six months for the device to become available in most languages around the world."

It won't be available in non-English speaking countries at all until the first quarter of next year when G1 handsets roll out in European nations including Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and the Netherlands.

As for Chinese, the native language for most HTC employees -- the company is based in Taiwan -- Wang wasn't sure.

You might get it as early as December according to this Indian newspaper article:
Quote:
HTC is planning to roll out Google Android-powered phone in India by December end.

Indian consumers, however, will be required to shell out more for G1 than it’s US pricing of around $180. While HTC is yet to firm up the prices for G1 in India, it is expected that the phone will be priced higher than Rs 20,000.
