pls excuse stupidity.... but if one doesn't have data (Internet) working, can one get anywhere with Android?

nevermind....
I found the SKIP button...

forging ahead... it sure would be nice to have WiFi...

so here's another noob question... how do I shutdown Android to go back to WM?
