Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has had any success with using their Android phone to provide an internet connection for a linux-based laptop?

I'm running an Asus Eee running EEEbuntu and would ideally like to use my G1 as a modem for it on occasion.

I tried following one guide using the Android SDK and the USB cable but it didn't seem to work.

Anyone else had any success??

I just used my Nexus One as a wifi hotspot for my Acer loaded with Meego 1.0 - no issues. Took 30 seconds top.
