Calendar Widget showing next day's agenda

I have the new 1.5 update, and I downloaded the Calendar widget. I have events on my agenda for today and tomorrow, however the agenda on the widget only shows one event from tomorrow and nothing for today. It did the same thing yesterday. I tried rebooting, and I tried deleting the widget and putting it back up again. Still nothing. Any suggestions?

The Calendar widget is real bullshit. It gives higher priority to full-day events, and it only shows your next event (just one), even though there is room enough for 2-3 events.

Can anyone recommend a way to have more than one event show up in the calendar widget?
