i just wanted to know if it was possible to use an AIM application on the G1 if u dont have a data plan or if your not connected to wifi? I do have unlimited texting and on my previous phone i was able to log into AIM without any sort of internet connection and all my IMs would just count as txt messages. This was because AIM was connecting through the GSM network and not through and internet connection. Is this possible on the G1? Any application that does this? I know you can use the AIM app if ur connected to wifi, but what if im on the road and not in a wifi area and dont have a data plan? Thanks for the help!
