Front Screen

Sorry if this has already been answered! I tried searching for it but nothing came back (unless I'm just having a bad day)

I recently got the black G1 (last week) - I finally figured out how to add other applications onto the front/home screen. It was messaging I added to the front screen which sits just under the web n walk icon. Is there any way to remove the icons from the front screen? I can't seem to remove the messaging again.

Long press on the icon you do not want, the menu at the bottom turns red and becomes a recycle bin. Drag the icon you are long pressing into the recycle bin, and away it goes never to be seen again (until you accidentally put it back on the main screen)

yes, just click the icon and hold it down until it clicks and then a trash bin will appear on the tab that houses all the applications and then just drag it to the trash.
