The 2nd finalists were announced earlier today and wow are they impressive!

Some of the $275,000 apps look very promising, but i kinda dont see how GoCart got through?

Scan a product's barcode with your phone's camera and view all the best prices online and at nearby, local stores.

ooook, but cant i just use a price comparison search engine from my browser? Dont really get that..

Anyway, will be interesting to see how these apps develop further with the funding!

I think two of the winners came out of MIT. Really great accomplishment for all concerned.

Really pleased to see the 'call a cab/cab4me' application making it through, i always thought that would be a must-have app for Android.

Looking forward to seeing these apps in action - especially once the new funding has been put to work.
