Does anyone know if there is gonna be visual voicemail for the g1? I know that the market has a vvm app but its one of the ones that you have to listen to them via internet, and it sucks!! Last time I tried one of those was when I had my iphone and it f***ed my voicemail all up! I wanna know if there is gonna be true visual voicemail in any future update?

how do you want to listen to them if not via the internet? I don't think the magic:// protocol works yet.

But you still have to get the voicemail off the server. I'm confused.

Nevermind, I downloaded Visual Voicemail by Phonefusion from the market and its 100% exactly what I wanted! What I meant was that I didn't want an "app" that made you connect to the actual browser, meaning that had to open the browser.

I'm waiting for a VVM app that actually uses my carriers VVM service!

I drowned my iPhone and wasn't impressed enough with the 3gs to "upgrade" so I bought a Magic from Rogers (added hero rom) and am loving it except for lack of VVM (and BT with current Hero rom). I had VVM on my iphone so I was suprised to learn of androids lack of an app.

Soon I hope. Looks like tmobile is releasing an app conncurently with there magic/mytouch launch. Or so I have heard.
