Please Help..Problem with BT Pairing

Hi Guys,
M new to this Forum so please dont mind if you find my question a bit silly (as m new to android as well)

I have Spice Mi-350n and it has V 2.3.4
Now when I try to connect my BT HEadset( Swiss Voice HF23 ) with the phone . It throws an error saying that " invalid pass key , unable to connect". However the phone does not ask me for a Pass key ( though it is 0000)

I have tried below
1. Removing the battery for some time and then tried
2. Restarting phn and BT device

However I was not able to connect.

Please help...let me know in case any other info is required.

I'm sure that there is a setting in the your OS.Because it is not possible that pass key option not having your OS
