The S2. I've fallen in love with the Galaxy series. That screen just blows you away, you'll not regret it when it comes to playing video through it.

Galaxy S2, The screen is the clincher and the dual core processor saves battery life as well as delivering performance.

I have to admit to being a bit of an HTC fan - for the following reasons...

HTC are more honest about offering upgrades - Samsung have made it clear they don't like upgrading older handsets and were it not for Google pressing them, wouldn't have offered half the upgrades they have

I've had experience of Samsung products in the past and their support is patchy at best - their software apps (for desktop connections etc.) are flaky and annoying to use - and poorly supported in themselves.

For that reason I tend to avoid Samsung hardware - when you're going to own a phone for a long period, and if you're a developer (as I am) it's often worth choosing the better supported handset and that will be the HTC.

p.s. Sense is also rather good but each to their own...

I own the Galaxy S2 and apart from the short battery life, it's easily the best phone I've ever had.

I've been using HTC Hero over the year then I switched to Galaxy S (first one). I really miss HTC Sense but my next phone would be probably Samsung again. I really love their Amoled screens. I'm considering purchase of a Galaxy Note right now but I must go to some shop and try if it fits in my pockets well
