It depends on which network you are on (Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, Tmobile) and area you live (Is 4G available in your area? If not, how are 3G speeds on your desired carrier?).

As a Sprint customer in Chicago, the Galaxy S II is above and beyond the best device I've ever used and wow's my friends who thought their device was the best-of-the-best.

I prefer Galaxy series, easy to use and nice design.

You really limited the discussion here with only these 2 phones.

If you want the most up to date, most advanced Android phone with the most speed, best graphics, least bloat-ware and most support, I would definitely recommend the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. If you want a keyboard phone, I would definitely say to wait until the Droid 4 comes out, which will essentially be a Droid RAZR with a keyboard, most likely a slightly faster processor and better graphics/screen res.

I have HTC desire S and I am very satisfied with it. But S2 is faster, so if the big size doesn't bother you, I recommend S2 to you
