In a recent interview with on US TV, Google's CEO Eric Schmidt believes that the increase in mobile internet users will enable Google to make more money from mobile advertising than internet advertising.

“We can make more money in mobile than desktop eventually because the mobile computer is more targeted. You carry your phone everywhere, it knows all about you, it knows what you’re up to. We can do a very, very targeted ad. Over time, we’ll make more money from mobile advertising.”

Schmidt also defended the Android platform amist rumors of delays, claiming that the platform is still very much on track to be distributed in mobile devices before the end of the year.
