Hi, I'm having a problem that started a couple of months ago. Apparently a local sports radio show recently acquired the exact same phone number that I have, except a different area code. (I live in a big city with multiple area codes.) Every single day around four in the afternoon I get multiple phone calls from strange men. Mostly they just hang up on me, though sometimes they apologize first. I called the radio show and asked them to remind their callers of their correct area code, but that did not help, as obviously the ones who call me are not paying close attention.
I really do not want to change my phone number, as I've had it for some time. I'd just like to not have to drop what I am doing over and over to see if the call is important or just some fool who can't dial the right area code. Is there an app that I can use to send any number that is not in my contact list straight to voicemail?
