Hey guys. I have an X10 and have moved away from many years of Nokia. Am looking forward to getting used to Android and the Sony. I have a few questions already, so i hope to speak to someone soon....

Thanks

When you move something to the desktop, it's only a copy that gets moved, so you can safely move the desktop one to the 'dustbin'. I've tried it with a few icons and the 'originals' do stay in the main menu, so delete away!...

Just hold your finger on the application icon on your desktop and the recycle bin will appear at the foot of the screen - drag it into the bin. As the previous guy said you wont lose the app - it only deletes the desktop shortcut
