Nexus S gets Sense 4.0 and ICS port courtesy of the HTC One X

If you own a Nexus S, but you’re secretly in love with the HTC Sense UI, you might want to check out the newest ROM circulating the XDA forums. It’s based on Sense 4.0 and Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. It’s a pre-Alpha build, so expect a lot of bugs. Don’t forget that since this port is from the HTC Endeavor RUU leak, there’s more work involved since it’s based on a quad-core and a 720p display. There’s already one other ROM based on this leak for the HTC Sensation, but to port this to the Nexus S is truly a feat.

As to what’s working, not much other than it boots and a few apps run. The main priorities are the radio (which may already work for some GSM users), sound, stopping random reboots, and launcher problems. If you’re a brave soul and want to help out development, hit the source link to get started and/or join in on the discussion.
