With so much hoopla on Android 2.2 coming to the flagship phones on each carrier, it’s easy to forget about the mid-range phones in the lineup. Well Verizon and LG haven’t forgotten about it’s core of Ally users. LG has specifically said that the Ally will indeed be receiving Android 2.2 but can’t confirm a date.

Of course this could mean anything. It might be released in a few weeks or November, so you Ally users just have to keep your fingers crossed.
