T-Mobile Germany Reveal Android Cupcake Update Planned For May

T-Mobile Germany have revealed on their official website that the long awaited Android 'Cupcake' update will be rolled out to G1 owners in May.

The T-Mobile Germany software update page list the following new features from the update:

  • Additional on-screen keyboard - you decide how you enter your messages
  • Video recording and playback
  • Pictures and video include one-click Picasa and YouTube uploads
  • Automatic adjustment of the touchscreen when the G1 is held horizontal or vertical
  • Support for Bluetooth stereo headsets

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. not again. I want my cupcake NOW!. I will download the application using google just like the guy who owns the g2 did. THIS SUCKS! too many delays, and guess what. I bet in may there is going to be ANOTHER delay.

  3. Hopefully the HTC Magic will also come out on T-Mobile…

  4. Will this version have the Exchange ActiveSync available? If you flash the HTC version it is available but not sure about the Google version?

  5. Is Germany announcing the update for EVERYBODY that owns a G1? Or only in the UK?…

  6. With the cupcake track record it will be Germany only. If at all.
