Seesmic for Android updated

The popular Android twitter app, Seesmic received a small update today. Seesmic is doing the smart thing and listening to their community and addressing problems that the community points out. For the most recent update, the updates include:

  • Allowing connection for servers which do not support xAuth
  • Ensure a secure and easy use with proxy settings

Not incredible updates, but updates none the less. I’d rather see a manufacturer frequently issue updates than ignore problems all together.

Ever since the update my text blends into the icons. Very annoying. Droid incredible.

Ditto on the Droid Incredible problem. Text is running into the profile icons. Going to switch to something else if not fixed soon!

Same here on HTC Desire. Very annoying when you install an update for an app, get very little benefit and find yourself worse off than before.

Seesmic never remembers my last position in the timeline, so I’m constantly scrolling back to my last position. Too bad the other clients out there aren’t as good, or costs too much, or I would switch.
