Want to get your hands on an Android based media player? Well unfortunately, you may have missed your chance, as the Archos 32 was available for pre-order… and then promptly “yoinked”. Keep in mind, this preorder went up before it’s even been officially announced. Sources say it’s ”decidedly more portable” than other attempts by Archos to bring us PMP’s. Specs include:
- Android 2.1
- 3.2-inch touchscreen
- 800MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor
- 8GB of storage
- WiFi
- camera and microphone
There is also speculation that it may be upgradeable to Android 2.2… not bad, considering the $149.99 price tag we saw.
The website that had the pre-order up was jr.com.
