German O2 Twitter account posted over the weekend that the Motorola Milestone (aka European Droid) will be receiving the Android 2.2 Froyo update in the mid to end of September. Several other devices were also listed such as the Milestone and the Galaxy S, as received it on the same timeline.
The Flipout and the Xperia X10 are still on the waiting list though showing as to be determined in the post. This is great news for European users who have been waiting patiently for the updates. The US version of the Droid is set to begin receiving the Froyo update shortly, so everyone get your phones ready
