
According to an article over at Engadget, DARPA, a provider and researcher of real-time translation devices, has been utilizing the Google Nexus one for it’s latest efforts. They have teamed up with the National Institute of Science and Technology – NIST – to test out three different systems, one of which is utilizing the Android-based device. The article shows examples of how the program can translate back and forth between Pashto, spoken in the middle east, and English.
