Compal Developing Android Netbooks

Taiwanese notebook manufacturer Compal Communications, are reportedly planning to develop netbooks powered by the Android platform.

According to a report by Digitimes, Compal are also believed to be in talks with a number of unnamed netbook sellers to help further the distribution of their upcoming Android product.

This latest Android netbook news comes a week after a Hewlett Packard spokesperson revealed that they are also actively looking into the Android platform in order "to assess the capabilities that Android might present for the computer and communications industries."

    I hope that they get the power management better than the G1 phone.
