HTC To Unveil New Touch Diamond And Touch Pro On May 6 - No Android

HTC’s global press event planned for May 6th has been surrounded by reports that HTC plan to use the occasion to show of their Android powered wares, sadly it’s now sounding like that may not be the case afterall.

Latest rumors floating around the various tech blogs is that HTC will instead use the event to unveil two new Windows Mobile powered Smartphones, the HTC “Touch Diamond” and the HTC “Touch Pro”. These two new models will be the successors to Touch Cruise and the TyTN II respectively.

Whether these latst reports are true or not remains to be seen, although it is now looking unlikely that HTC will be using showcasing their Android debut at this event.

The HTC global press event is scheduled to take place May 6th.
