Samsung Android Phone European Release In June

Samsung have revealed at the CTIA Wireless trade show that their first Android phone is scheduled for release in June of this year - but not in the U.S.

Speaking to Forbes, Samsung's Dr. Won-Pyo Hong, executive vice president of global product strategy in the company's mobile communication division, revealed that U.S consumers will see two Android phones in the second half of this year.

Hong went on to reveal that the two Android devices will be available from two different carriers (widely tipped to be Sprint and T-Mobile).

The two U.S Samsung Android phones will apparently look 'totally different' due to operator preferences.

Hong noted that initially only one Android phone will be made available in Europe, "In Europe, you can launch one common device with several carriers," he said.
