Samsung Android Phones Coming In Q3 2009
Following the recent Android blurrycam image from Samsung's dealer show in Amsterdam, DigiTimes are today reporting that Samsung are planning to launch their first Android phone as early as the third quarter of this year.
Based on information leaked from Samsung, the company's first Android handset will be similar to HTC's forthcoming HTC Magic handset in design and hardware specifications, and both models will be built with 3.5G chipset solutions from Qualcomm, the sources noted.
The HTC Magic will mark HTC's second Android phone release and is scheduled for launch in April exclusively to the European Vodafone network. The HTC Magic is expected to be alunched across the US on the T-Mobile network shortly after although to date there has been no official confirmation from T-Mobile US.
