So it’s officially official. You can actually get your mitts on the new DROID RAZR MAXX this Thursday, Jan. 26th. We had previously thought that the 26th was going to be the day, but according to the Verizon press release we got this morning we know it’s true.

The RAZR MAXX is just a larger version of the RAZR in that it holds a 3300 mAh battery, and Moto claims this puppy can handle 21 hours of straight talk time. They are even going as far as holding a 24 hour event on Feb. 6th to test the battery’s longevity. So if it’s 4G you want and longer battery life you need, this may be the device of your dreams. To see the device in action, check out our hands on video from CES and be sure to let us know if you plan on picking one up!

Full press release after this break.
