Remote Wipe Software for Froyo Users

Apparently built within Froyo there’s a remote wipe feature, but I’m not sure it was properly enabled.  Nevertheless, those guys over at xda-developers have whipped up yet another very handy fix, this addressing the remote wipe issue.  According to its creator, this app will trigger a wipe of the phone in various cases, including failed passwords to unlock the screen, password received via SMS, or changing the SIM card.

If any of you are interested in this added piece of security, head over to the source link for more details.
