Super Customizable App Creator Launched by Mobile Roadie

Have you been wanting an app to connect with a particular audience? With the growing number of smartphones, the potential is certainly there to do so. But creating an app requires technical know-how and time spent tediously with code and the like, right? Well, perhaps this article is for you. Read on after the break.

A platform developer company by the name of Mobile Roadie has released an upscale version of its previous app creation software, allowing potential creators lots of creative potential with little technical know-how. The full breadth of what you can do with the platform is pretty impressive, though it does seem limited to the whole “connecting with your fans/audience” spectrum of apps. It allows you to create an app that seamlessly connects to your online blogs, social networks, online store,  pictures, and videos, and also communicate to your audience through the app, all while giving you the freedom to personalize that app to your every whim, practically. The app then gives the end user the option to easily push the information on the app to whatever social networks that they’re on. The viral potential here is fierce, great for those budding artist/musician types, and current users include Wynn Las Vegas, Ninja Tune, and The FADER.

That said, the service is not free. The base plan they have is $499 to set up, followed by a $29 per month bill, while the advertised Pro plan (with all the customization) will set you back $1,999 for the initial setup cost, followed by $99 per month. You would certainly have to make sure the cost was worth whatever it may bring in.

Naturally, nothing is going to compare to an honest to goodness human coder/creator putting out a really good app and we have yet to see how this is going to compare to the virtual WYSIWYG system that Android themselves are pushing out. However, if you’re looking to connect your work to the masses and you’ve got the cash to invest, you may want to check it out. At the very least, you may want to check out the video of the program in action.

…with lots of money to burn. In other words, not for someone like me who just wants to have a little fun. :(

No, actually this will be very good because let’s say you have Android and are a Taylor Swift fan. This will make it easier for her to have an app for you and her other android fans.
