Samsung Promotes Galaxy S with Avatar in Commercial

Samsung knows what a great phone series they’re putting out in the Galaxy S. More than that, they know what a spectacular screen they have on that great phone series. So it should come as no surprise that in their most recent commercial, they feature Avatar (easily one of the most visually striking movies to date) to show off the screen’s capabilities. Obviously, Samsung knows their phone, and, more importantly, they know their customer. Video after the break.

While I know that you can’t really just film a cell phone screen, even the best one, seeing “simulated image” always leaves me less than impressed.

  2. That’s why you should go and check it out for yourself.

  3. I have the vibrant, a phone in the galaxy s series. The screen is AMAZING. It is literally just as good as HD. Watching avatar is amazing.

Oh, I’ve seen the Vibrant in person. Great screen. But I don’t see the point in showing it on TV and expecting audiences to ooh and ahh, when it says right there that this is a simulated image!
