Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 Coming to O2 UK in September
The upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 will be launched on the O2 network in the UK this coming September. As an Android user I am anxious to hear if this is going to be an exclusive handset to o2 or if it will be a general launch among other carriers as well. The release of the X8 will add more choices to an already impressive mix of android devices available through o2, and will compliment the already line of Sony Ericsson X10, X10 mini, and X10 mini pro devices.
With the recent de-coupling of all the handsets (now devices are all available pay as you go), there are no more long contracts to tie you down. With the constant addition of new Android power devices, O2 UK is a becoming a great place for choices on your next Android phone. As the platform begins to gain more momentum, the choice and diversity offered by o2 UK will continue to help the Android product line to grow while giving their customers better choices.

That would be great if this came to Tmo US… I used to like Sony Eriicsson products… Nokia used to be a favorite of mine, but then they ones that T-Mobile put out weren’t up to par with what was out… I’d love if Nokia made a phone to beat the Vibrant. I am liking the Vibrant, but I am not digging the “swype” keyboard; it slows down the typing.
