On a Vlog on youtube, Dell’s Kevin Andrew shows off the Streak running Android 2.1, and Dell’s custom skin. Dell is still promising to go to Froyo (2.2) but has not confirmed whether or not 2.1 will be offered as a short term upgrade. Either way, there is still no definite date set for these upgrades, you could say the same for almost all the promised 2.1, 2.2 upgrades at the moment.

Also Dell have updated on the planned release of the Cherry Red Streak, by tweeting that it wont be released this week, which breaks the “late July” scheduled release that had been rumoured. Check out the video:
