[Deal] Verizon Offers Galaxy Nexus Extended Battery at 50% Off, Now Only $25

Many of you already have, or are considering picking up the new Verizon Galaxy Nexus. With all of the 4G battery life woes that are accustom to any 4G device, an extended battery may be a necessity for some of you. Right now, Verizon is offering the extended battery at a 50% discount that makes it only $24.99.

The extended battery comes with a new battery door that is hardly any different than the original. I was able to use the Incopio hard case that I purchased with the phone even with the new battery and battery door with no issues at all. You may also find that the original battery door fits surprisingly well even with the extended battery installed. I have yet to do any testing to see how much more battery life can be gained with the extended battery, I assume 2-3 hours, maybe.

If you happened to pick up the extended battery yesterday and had to pay full price like I did, you can call *611 and they will credit your account with the difference in price. If you want to have that cold hard cash in your hand you will have to take your receipt in to the store for the refund. Either way it should’t be any problem at all.

If you’re ready to take advantage of this deal, hit up the source link below these photos.

Just called VZ and they said their price online is still 49.99. no credits.

Does not work. I tried online, via the up link, and it’s $49.99. Called Verizon and they say it’s $49.99.

VZ transferred me to the telesales department and they honored the $24.99 price. Good deal! Otherwise, it’s $49.99.

I was able to purchase one. It says 49.99 on the website, but after you add it to your cart and go to check out it shows as 24.99. I just looked it up again since I did it earlier today (possibility that they changed it) but it still works.

Worked for me. I had to click off the page using a different link, use the “Back” button for the Add To Cart button to show and once I added to cart, it showed the discounted price. Woot!

I  am not sure whats going on with those of you having problems, but everyone I have talked to has gotten the deal (including myself). Maybe you need to be more ‘aggressive’ with the person you are talking to? Or if you are placing an order online, do like Jim says or call *611 to place an order.

I was debating whether to get the extended battery online since they didn’t have them at the store last night when I picked up my GN. Decided to go back to a different store today that had them in stock, smiled and winked at the girl behind the counter a few times and she gave me the battery for the discounted price. Go to your closest store (make sure they have them in stock first) and point out the “cart” price online. Make them see for themselves if they don’t believe you. You should be able to get it for that price. Nothing on the website says “online only” anywhere.

It’s not going to add 3 hours. more like 1. But the point is having two batteries, it’s like you more than double your battery life.

None in stock at local verizon, but they gave me the discount w/ free 2 day shipping. It was at my house within 24 hrs
