We have already heard recently about how Android has provided a healthy boost to revenues for Sony Ericsson, specifically its Xperia X10 and Vivaz models. Rogers is one of the carriers to offer the Xperia X10 in its original guise and it will now be complementing it with the X10 Mini. You’ll get a 2.6″ QVGA (yep, just 240×320) touchscreen along with GPS, Wi-Fi and five megapixel camera rocking Android 1.6, though an upgrade to 2.1 is supposedly planned for Q4.
So what is Rogers planning on asking for the X10 Mini? Well, if you fancy being tied into a three year contract (and let’s face it, you probably don’t) then you can grab one for a mere $29.99. That rises to $274.99 on a two year contract and $324.99 on a one year contract. Or you can buy one ouright for $374.99. If you need a diminutive Android phone, then its worth a look.
