Pantech, long-time maker of Helio devices, has released a new version of an old tune (their Sirius Android handset) with the Vega IM-A650S. It weighs in just a little under the Samsung Vibrant – by 0.14 ounces – and comes to the Korean market sporting:
- 1GHz Snapdragon processor
- Android 2.1
- 5MP camera
- 3.7″ 800×400 AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
- 500MB internal storage
- 8GB external memory
Even if you’re not in Korea, just keep an eye out… Pantech is said to be in talks with AT&T and Verizon to help get the device over to the US side of things.
