Alright, folks, pay attention. Here’s a play book for how NOT not make your customers happy if you’re Verizon:

1. Offer the HTC Droid Incredible
2. Run out of the Droid Incredible
3. Offer the Motorola Droid X as a second option for impatient customers
4. Run out of the Motorola Droid X

That’s right. Verizon, having offered the new Droid X as a switch option to those still waiting for their backstocked Droid Incredibles, has now run out Of Droid X’s. This means that now both phones have a stock delay that will last until next month.

While demand for both phones has been huge, we were promised that there would be enough stock in the Droid X so as not to cause the same issues that happened with the Incredible, but now both phones are in the same boat.. a boat that is very, very far away.
