While the Samsung Galaxy S line has been one of the most anticipated lines of mobile phones to come out in recent months, and has had remarkable sales numbers, it is still shipping with Android 2.1 installed. So, everyone wants to know… when is The Galaxy S line getting Froyo?

We all know that the Korean Galaxy S market will be getting it in August, but now Samsung France has released the information that the Froyo upgrade in their area will be happening the month after, in September. The French got the Galaxy S in the first part of July, and the device is available for as low as 29 pounds when purchased through Virgin Mobile.

All you other Samsung Galaxy S owners: don’t fret. With as popular as this line is and has been, and hopefully will be, you can expect that almost every Galaxy S will have some Froyo goodness in the near future.
